Scott David Beattie

My name is Scott David Beattie. I attended David Street Primary School and Morrinsville Intermediate School during my primary education. I went to Morrinsville College during my secondary education and gained a Bachelor of Primary School Teaching at the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand. I have taught at primary schools throughout the Waikato, Matamata-Piako, Franklin, Hauraki and Thames-Coromandel districts for six years as a full time-teacher, CRT and BT release teacher, long-term relief teacher and day-to-day relief teacher. In my sixth year of my professional career I also taught at a high school.

Teaching literacy to children was enjoyable, however I did not do a lot of reading in my spare time because the work I did as a teacher involved a lot of reading. Now that I am not currently teaching, I am enthusiastic about reading and writing in my spare time.

I am interested in reading books on Christianity hence the reason why I have a published a Christian prayer book entitled, 'Zenith Heaven Comes to Earth: A Christian Prayer Book'. It is listed in Amazon for purchase. Since I was baptised and started attending church in my early twenties, my faith in Jesus is undeniable.

I have also written a book entitled, 'Setting Yourself Free From Pornography: A Practical Christian Approach', which I believe can help the reader be set free from this addiction. Although it is a Christian approach to doing so, I believe it can help non-Christians as well.

As a primary school teacher, I was always enthusiastic about teaching children how to read and write poetry. Due to having taught children this, I decided to publish my own poetry booklet. It is entitled, Sixty-Two Not Out: A Poetry Booklet', and is also listed on Amazon for purchase.

I hope to continue to write books in the future and I hope you enjoy reading these books should you choose to purchase these.
