Jorge Arenas is a Puerto Rican author born in 1986 in Río Piedras, raised within the ever-moving rhythm of a military family. With each new town and whispered legend, he unearthed a deep fascination for the eerie and unexplained. In 2020—a year defined by uncertainty—he embraced the strange and launched his debut horror novel.

Jorge’s passion lies in the shadowy intersection of urban legend and cosmic dread, where the surreal reflects uncomfortable truths about our world. His work draws from vivid nightmares, personal introspection, and a lifelong love of horror across books, films, and games. Literary influences include H.P. Lovecraft’s abyssal wonder, Bram Stoker’s gothic finesse, and the haunting precision of Junji Ito.
