Mrs. Maxine A. Moncrieffe-Williams, professionally known as Maxwanette A Poetess, is the Founder, Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief of PLOTS JAMERICAN MAGAZINE: "The Jamaican-American Diaspora"—a publication devoted to preserving, documenting, and celebrating the voices, stories, creativity, arts, roots (ancestry), culture, entrepreneurship, and accomplishments of Jamaicans and the Jamaican-American Diaspora.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, to proud Jamaican parents, Maxwanette created the magazine from a simple yet powerful belief: "Our stories deserve to be told by us, preserved for future generations, and celebrated with authenticity, pride, and purpose." Through engaging articles, interviews, historical features, and cultural storytelling, she shines a light on the people, traditions, and experiences that connect Jamaica and America while honoring the bridges between them.

A lifelong poet, author, publisher, and cultural creative, Maxwanette is passionate about supporting fellow creatives and documenting history before it is forgotten. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for community, humanity, and the power of storytelling to educate, inspire, and unite people across generations and borders.
