Crown Shepherd is a prolific author with three published books to her name and many more in the pipeline. She is a seasoned marketing manager at Wise Ink Creative Publishing, a dedicated owner and bookseller at Liberate Your BookShelf, and an unwavering advocate for reading.

Born and raised in the vibrant community of north Minneapolis, Crown Shepherd has always been passionate about literacy and education. Her life's mission revolves around reducing the illiteracy rate within the Black community. She firmly believes that reading is the key to unlocking a world of knowledge and opportunity.

With the firm conviction that if you can read, you can learn; if you can learn, you can grow; and if you can grow, you can be anything, Crown Shepherd has tirelessly worked to inspire and empower individuals through the written word.
