Alyce Werdel

Alyce Werdel was raised in Bakersfield, California. She graduated from Stanford University with a degree in human biology. While there, she was a member of the women’s tennis team, including two NCAA Division I National Championship teams. She went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame, where she was a Thomas J. White Scholar on Law and Government. After graduation, she practiced law at a large law firm in San Francisco and rose to the level of partner. She is a member of the California Bar.

More recently, Alyce has focused on writing her novel, The Dresden Network, an international political thriller that draws on her deep knowledge of pre- and post-Cold War Germany.
