Nicolas Coursault

Nicolas Coursault is born in France in 1975 and has been passionate about the stories of the forgotten from a very young age, those that represent our roots buried in our collective memories.

As an amateur genealogist, he began studying for a bachelor's degree in history before leaving for a year's hiatus. 1996 is the year of his journeys, crossing Australia, travelling through Southern Africa and Central America. His projects without a future range from teaching in Gaborone to planting peaches in Costa Rica.

Having become the father of a little girl, he moved to the German-speaking part of Switzerland to set up his own company, building swimming pools.

The family grows by four children and the return to his native Drôme is necessary. In 2018, he started writing. Witnessing and bringing back to life the sacrificed, the illustrious strangers, these are the common threads of his books. After Gaborone, an autobiographical novel about his travels, he published Solstice 40 in 2020.
