I'm a veteran of the Vietnam war and an amateur historian with a specific focus on American, Twenty Century European and military history.I'm a life long resident of Minnesota.

I also love to tell stories. My first book tells the stories of families . Families that struggle across forty years, five continents and two wars. The stories of love, struggle and loss.My novel "The Darkside ofThe Sun" has received many five star reviews on GoodReads. It is a gripping and realistic portray of the times and the experiences for those struggling through those difficult times.It also incorporates many of my own experiences and the war's impact on me .My intent was to show the impact on so many of the three million soldiers, Marines and nurses who served their country and who still carry the war with them. We must never forget them!
