LaVonna Patterson

LaVonna Patterson was born and grew up in New Bern, North Carolina, a small coastal town. She spent four years overseas in Germany. She lived in the Midwest in North Dakota for eighteen years and has since made the northwest in Idaho her home.

LaVonna graduated from Walden University, Minnesota in 2001 and is a retired PhD psychologist. She is married to her husband of seventeen years, Dennis, and mother of a blended family of now five adult children and grandchildren.

LaVonna still loves the Atlantic Ocean and looks forward to it anytime of the year, as well as traveling the globe. She enjoys reading, writing, jazz music, and photography.

With fifteen years in education and another twenty years in psychology and counseling, LaVonna believes in giving back to others and helping others. She is excited about this next journey of her life.
