Blair Keetch

As T.S. Eliot once observed, “The end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started.”

This resonates with Blair Keetch as he started writing at a young age and even had travel articles published in newspapers like ‘Toronto Star’.

But life has a funny way of offering different paths and Blair became engrossed with other careers during his work history including roles as an airline project manager, overseer at a pet event center and promoter of Ontario tourism. In his time in the airline industry, Blair worked in a diverse array of locations including Australia, Kuwait, Jamaica and Rome.

When he reached middle age, he realized he could no longer resist the siren call of writing and again picked up the pen.

Throughout Blair has been an avid fan of mystery books – everything from Christie to Connelly, from MacDonald to Macdonald.

His short story ‘A Contrapuntal Duet’ was the 2019 Winner for emerging crime writers and was included in the most recent Mesdames of Mayhem anthology, ‘In the Key of Thirteen’.

Recently, his short story ‘Deadly Cargo’ was included in the mystery anthology ‘Heartbreaks & Half-Truths’.

‘A Crunchy Kind of Death’ was the short story featured in the July newsletter for ‘It Was A Dark & Stormy’ book club.

Blair is thrilled to again be part of the Carrick Publishing family with his latest story ‘Sleep, Perchance to Die’ being included in ‘Grave Diagnosis’ coming out in fall 2020.

He is hard at work (when time and toddler permits) on his full length mystery novel, ‘Flight Risk’.
