In 2014, I went to Jerusalem as a Christian business consultant looking to help Orthodox Jews start new companies. Once there, I found myself standing on top of the walls of Jerusalem, hearing one such Jew share his idea to teach Jewish insights to Christians over the Internet.

That man, Gidon Ariel, befriended me and helped me in turn befriend many Orthodox Jews. My first 25 trips to Israel since 1990 were for high-tech, but my last 25 visits have been for knowledge and friendship with Orthodox Jews. These friendships undergird my writing.

Raised in the evangelical tradition, I have been an ardent follower of Jesus/Yeshua for more than 50 years. I believe Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah and Son of God, who is returning soon. I support gospel sharing around the world, I pray fervently for revival, and I have read widely in Christian and Hebraic Roots literature. But since 2014, my Christian faith has been enriched beyond measure.

That is why I write!

And that is why I invite you to come with me on a journey of your own, a journey that needs nothing more than curiosity, and nothing less than an open heart towards Jews.
