Lisa Nantais

Lisa Nantais was inspired to write a series of children's books when she became a grandmother in March of 2018. Though they live 3500 Km apart Granny and Riley maintain a close bond by connecting through video chat and through their imaginary adventures exploring the beautiful flora and fauna of Jasper National Park.

It was by coincidence that she met illustrator, Jennifer Ottaway at a local Christmas craft fair. Jennifer's water colour style was exactly what Lisa had envisioned.

With three books in the series, readers have visited forest animals on the way to the peak of a quartzite mountain, met some curly headed creatures on a bedrock knoll that's even older than Granny, and peeked at some shy cousins of Riley's friend, Mia at Pyramid Lake. There are so many wonderful adventures to come!

Ice and Fire - After fire devastates her life, destroying her home and taking everything that means the most to her, Seraphina begins to live again, but dark forces seem to undermine her efforts. Will she succumb to the darkness or rise from the ashes?

Fountaine - As Jaime is faced with becoming a father, he struggles with the lack of information about the parents who abandoned him at the Peace Fountain almost two decades ago. As his world seems to crumble around him, he finds guidance and friendship in the unlikeliest of places.
