Wanetta Hill

Wanetta Hill is a retired Texas music educator, musician, published lyricist, storyteller, and adventurer.

An active member in many communities and organizations, Wanetta is always the first to volunteer – freely giving of her time, talents, and cheer. It’s this attitude that has allowed her to never meet a stranger who isn’t also a potential new friend.

The Dr. Elizabeth Stone series is inspired by her own love of travel, music, art, dogs, and mystery. It is her hope that her readers will be inspired to go out and explore for themselves – and fall in love with the places and songs that have meant so much to her.

When not writing, Wanetta spends time with her three children's families and her two grandchildren. Pippa, her Sheepadoodle, is a rockstar and very much a part of her writing.
