After spending my childhood reading fantasy books, it was natural to take the step into writing them! I like the grey characters; those who may do the right thing for the wrong reasons or the ones who want to do the right thing but cannot. Mostly I write in the World called Tainted, which gets its name because of the impact its magic has on others.

I got brave in November 2019 and released my first novel, "Dragon's Voice". The duology "Weapons of Espar" then followed, with more to come!

In my other life, I'm really a veterinarian, so my animal depictions are pretty spot on! I live in Sooke, BC, Canada, with my husband of 10+ years, my two sons, and three demanding felines.​ I'm out into the forest when I can, since Sooke has some of the best hiking trails to be found between rainforest and ocean!
