A Chicago native now residing in Los Angeles who has over 20 years of clinical experience in therapy, life coaching, and education. Ms. McGee’s dedication to the enhancement and development of the complete person has motivated her to expand her knowledge base in the areas of intentional personal healing, community, and most recently breast cancer advocacy. Ms. McGee was diagnosed with Stage 2A Grade 7 Breast Cancer Her2+ Estrogen+, Progesterone+ in 2018. That moment would change her life forever and create her new normal.
Ms. McGee holds a BSW from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, an MSW from Aurora University, an M.Ed from Lewis University and ABD from Concordia University. Some of her current research interests are human development through life coaching, community restoration by means of healing and accountability, human trafficking, and breast cancer awareness. Her most recent written work is an anthology, entitled 12 Shades of Breast Cancer. Ms. McGee is a mother of four beautiful children and able to say she beat cancer…she’s a Survivor!
