For more than a decade, Derek has also owned and operated a business that helps young children develop social skills and physical literacy.

He is part owner of, XEIA, an artificial intelligence startup designed to give 99% of profits to those in extreme poverty.

And he is the creator and writer behind 2020 Theory (www.2020theory.org).
