Reena Simon is a founder, author and Creative Director working at the intersection of home, culture and modern family life. With over a decade in the interiors and lifestyle space, she is known for an emotionally intelligent approach to design, prioritising atmosphere, ritual and how spaces make us feel, not just how they look.
She is the founder of Hygge for Home and the creator of The Intentional Home™, a philosophy rooted in the belief that homes should hold our rituals, not just our things. What began as a styling practice has evolved into a wider body of work spanning publishing, product design, creative direction and long-term brand partnerships across the UK, Europe and the US. Shaped by lived experience, her work approaches the home as emotional infrastructure, a place of calm, comfort and belonging.
Reena is the co-author of the global bestseller Scandi Rustic. Her second book, Scandi Modern, published by Mitchell Beazley, builds on this foundation. The book offers clear, room-by-room guidance grounded in Scandinavian design principles, exploring how light, texture, natural materials and everyday rituals shape homes that feel calm, cosy and intentional.
Alongside her publishing career, Reena collaborates with established global brands across home, beauty and lifestyle, including IKEA, The White Company, John Lewis, Beauty Pie and L’Occitane. She is also Creative Director for architectural glazing brand Maxlight.
Positioned within a wider cultural shift towards intentional living, Reena’s work explores how design can support the way we live now, creating homes that are not just styled, but deeply felt.
