Jasmine grew up in Devon, and from a young age began scribbling stories about the imaginary misadventures of a small brown bear. Her subject matter has matured somewhat since then, and she now writes about people; about their lives, loves and losses, and the intrinsic human need for connection.
Working as a conservation biologist, Jasmine now lives a scientist-by-day, writer-by-night sort of existence. Her first short story collection was published in early 2020, and she is currently working on a full-length novel.
When not writing, Jasmine spends her spare time with friends, out walking, or lost in her favourite periods in history. A self-confessed Jane Austen addict, she loves reading, enjoys listening to thunderstorms, and is happiest beside the sea.
