Renee N. G. Stackhouse has spent most of her legal career working to advance diverse and solo/small firm lawyers. She is known nationally for efforts in diversity, inclusion & equity, as well as her legal acumen. She founded her own solo law practice in 2016. A trial lawyer at Stackhouse, APC in her "day" job, Renee is Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and teaches with the prestigious Trial Lawyers College. She was the first woman to teach the Advanced Trial Advocacy Course for the USAF Judge Advocate General School. She is a past president of California Women Lawyers, the CWL Foundation, and San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association. She is a past Vice President of Lawyers Club of San Diego and Federal Chair for the San Diego Steering Committee of Human Rights Campaign. She is the Founder of MSheLE, President-Elect of the San Diego County Bar Association, Co-Chair of the National Association of Women Judges' Mothers in Court Committee and Past Chair of the California Lawyers Association Solo & Small Firm Section.
