Simone Kotva

Simone Kotva is a philosopher working in the intersection of theology, critical theory and earth ethics. She has taught at the Universities of Gothenburg and Cambridge, and is currently research fellow at the multidisciplinary ECODISTURB project, based in the Faculty of Theology, University of Oslo. Simone is also affiliated lecturer at the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge, where she co-teach the MPhil (MA) module, Theology in the Anthropocene. She has a special interest in early modern mysticism, and in the relationship between mysticism and radical philosophies of the contemporary period, in particular posthumanist and new materialist philosophies.
