Welcome! I'm Ashleigh Meyer, author of the Keeping Shiloh series. For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to be a writer. Now, for better or worse, here I am. I write professionally for magazines, websites, law firms, and anyone else who will give me money in exchange for words. Keeping Shiloh has been my creative focus for a long time, but I also write children's literature, poetry, and music. That I play on the banjo. Poorly. I live in a small town in Virginia with my high school sweetheart (now husband) Nicholas. We have a hound dog (Atlas) two conures (Sonny and Dini) and a cat who hates our guts (Charlie Alpha Tango). We are also foster parents to some really wonderful and inspiring children.
When I'm not writing, I attempt to manage a ridiculous number of hobbies, some of them bizarre, and I run a tubing and paddle boarding company on the James River in the summer. I get to work with my best friend Natalie, and really it's just an excuse for us to go swimming every weekend.
If you're dropping by, feel free to say hey, or tell me what you think about Keeping Shiloh (or whatever else is on your mind). You can find me at www.ashmeyer.wixsite.com/author and various other corners of the internet.
Thanks so much for reading!!
“A writer is someone for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people.”
