Edwin Yip is a family doctor working in Auckland, New Zealand. He was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to New Zealand at the age of eight. He enjoys playing chess, reading books, and going on walks. For some reasons, one of his patients keeps referring to him as 'Erwin', even when corrected. And this happens to be the name of the protagonist in his first book.
