When he was fourteen, his friends gave him the nickname “The Esquire,” and it stuck. In the same year, he discovered his love for fantasy after reading JRR Tolkien’s “The Hobbit.” This eventually led him to want to become a writer, with Enchanter’s Quest being the first of many novels, both in and out of fantasy. Once the Enchanter’s Quest tetralogy is completed, JL Esquire intends on writing series in sci-fi, mystery adventure, historical fiction, as well as continuing in the fantasy genre.
