Life began making Jack a writer at a young age. Along with your typical childhood vaccinations for rabies and trypanophobia, the world gave him balanced doses of living with religious, middle-class grandparents, and childhood trauma. In Kansas. Once Kansas got too extreme, he shipped off for Ohio, where his first social experience, in 9th grade, was band camp--with lots of strangers and his assortment of undiagnosed mental health crises. College was good for 7 years of toggled embarrassments until he graduated with a 4 year B.A. in English and History. Now married, with two kids and a cockatiel bent on world domination, Jack aspires to throw off the yoke of mortal employment. First, he must learn to write consistently. Maybe even write competently. He stares into the void of middle-age and screams...the void points back and laughs.
