Linda D'Ae-Smith

Linda (Detherage) D’Ae-Smith has enjoyed writing since elementary school, so it's not surprising that she focused on creative writing, journalism, and public relations in college.

Her love of writing led to a job in public/media relations at Oregon Zoo from 1996 – 2011, writing press releases for local, national, and international distribution, as well as magazine articles for The Association of Zoo and Aquarium’s magazine, Connect.

Linda and her husband live in Sandy, Oregon, and love spending time with their grandchildren. They enjoy vacationing close to home in Central Oregon, as well as traveling to National Parks across the United States. They have a goal of visiting all 62 parks.
