Terry Samala de Guzman

Terry Samala de Guzman immigrated from the Philippines to the US in her early twenties, and built a professional career that spanned over four decades covering corporate finance, education and the arts. She accomplished this while balancing family life, raising two children and surviving health crises.

A retired CFO/COO, she's now focused on her coaching and consulting practice, TSDCoach. She also founded Unlad (Tagalog for “progress”), a nonprofit providing underserved youth in the Philippines and the U.S. with access to education.

Terry is the proud mother of Alex and Philip, and doting grandmother to Kenzie, Floey, Nico, Jasper, and Maggie. She resides in Charlottesville, Virginia, with her husband, Allen.
