Bernard Retali

Shocked by the tragic fate of a close one, Bernard Retali decided to describe an environment he knows well.

Convinced that derision is the ultimate weapon, with "L ’Assurance des Pantins", Bernard plunges us into the heart of a complex and pernicious intrigue of the business world. Retali, has worked as an executive of insurance companies in France and abroad. He moved to Barcelona in 2003 and started his own business there.

The success of this first novel prompted him to write a second. "The Shortest Way Passes Through the Line of Desire" explores a totally different universe: that of the passage to adulthood, of the role of friendship and love in going through life.
