DH Richards

DH Richards is a husband-and-wife writing team based in the Willamette Valley near Portland, OR. They have a blended family of eight children and zero pets. Their grocery bill is enormous and they have yet to figure out how to teach people to turn off the lights when they leave a room. Their hope is to raise children who think big and love even bigger.

Derek is a mortgage professional with twenty-five years of experience in the field. A lover of basically everything in this world, he can pick up any accent or dialect and mimic it after only a minute or so of listening to someone speak, which provides his family with endless entertainment and fodder for eye rolls. He never uses the same name twice when asked for it at fast food establishments. Ice cream is simply the binder for toppings.

Holly is an accomplished composer/lyricist/librettist whose true passion lies in creating musical works for the stage. She is a member of LineStorm Playwrights, the professional writing team in residence at Artists Repertory Theatre in Portland, OR. She greatly misses her twice-yearly trips to New York City and will cry buckets of tears when she gets to sit in an audience once again. Her favorite sound is that of a tuning orchestra just before the curtain rises. Member, Dramatists Guild and ASCAP.
