Anne Masson

Anne and Matt Masson are a mother and son team who have worked together to write 'To the Top of the Mountain", which details Matt's recovery from a traumatic brain injury, fuelled by his love of skiing.

Matt is now working as a freelance free ski journalist, which has been a very unexpected consequence of his brain injury. His work can be seen in another book, 'Downdays Ski Stories 2020', as well as on various ski websites and magazines, including National Geographic Traveller Winter Special 2020.

Both Anne and Matt love to ski and spend as much time as possible in the Chamonix valley during the winter months. Lucky Matt now lives out there, while Anne and her husband, Nick, are based on the West Sussex coast with Bobby the Westie.
