Zuzana Tomas

Dr. Zuzana Tomaš is an Associate Professor of ESL/TESOL at Eastern Michigan University where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in TESOL and ESL. She has conducted teacher professional development in the US, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, China, and Syria. Dr. Tomaš’ scholarly interests are in second language writing pedagogy and teacher education. In addition to peer reviewed articles and book chapters, Dr. Tomaš has co-authored three books entitled “Teaching Writing” and “Fostering International Student Success in Higher Education” and “Teaching Effective Source Use: Classroom Approaches that Work”. Dr. Tomaš has presented her work in numerous national and international conferences and is an avid advocate for international and immigrant students in her community.
