Patrick D. Schmidt

Patrick Schmidt is a young author with big dreams, and an insatiable desire to create. He has lived his whole life in the Salt Lake Valley. He spent his youth in various plays and musicals. When he wasn’t memorizing lines, he was devouring all kinds of books- mostly fantasy and sci-fi, but he also enjoyed reading his history textbooks (*cough* nerd).

In High School he studied film making and to this day he enjoys breaking down movies, exposing their strengths and weaknesses. His love of storytelling led him to pursue writing in any form- plays, films and now novels.

The ideas for his universe of stories started with his siblings. They used to play games in the backyard. Patrick created stories that he drew out for years- some are even still going. Now, he’s just finally penning the epics that entertained them for so many years.

In August 2019, he married his sweetheart, Camee, who doubles as his editor. They have a baby girl named Nora and Patrick can't wait to start telling her stories. .
