Kim Davis

As a first time author, Kim Davis, began writing her book while battling a rare Sarcoma cancer. She was diagnosed in the middle of the school year in 2017. Her inspiration to write this story sparked from her students and how they handled knowing their teacher had cancer and continued to teach through surgeries and treatments. Her strength comes from her faith, and only through God’s grace she was able to write this book. She lives with her husband, Scot, and has two sons, Landon, and Dillon. They are the loves of her life and couldn’t do this journey without them. She is originally from Ohio where her extended family still remains, and hopes to someday move back there. For now, New Jersey remains her home, where she is currently undergoing treatment while writing this story.
