Britny Virginia

Britny Virginia is a poet and creative producer based in England, UK. Britny enjoys playing with the assimilation, deconstruction, the structure and form of language and words and how this reflects motion, which also reflects her life as someone living with a type of Cerebral Palsy called Spastic Diplegia. Her work is also greatly influenced by her Saint Lucian heritage. Her writing often addresses the ups and downs of living with a disability, womanhood, culture and faith. Britny is passionate about storytelling and using storytelling as a tool for empowering others and challenging perspectives. She has a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Essex and is excited to share her talent with the world. She hopes to change the world one story at a time.
