Gabriel Ortigoza

Gabriel C. Ortigoza, PhD, RN, is a seasoned nurse, educator, and entrepreneur with decades of dedication to healthcare, education, and community development. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Philippine University, a Master of Management from the University of the Philippines, a Master in Public Administration from Baguio Central University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Management from the University of the Cordilleras.

Gabriel built a distinguished career in clinical nursing, nursing leadership, and academic instruction in the United States. A former staff nurse from Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento and former nursing leader at Methodist Hospital, he continues to shape future healthcare professionals as a Clinical Instructor at the University of California Davis School of Nursing, Sierra College’s Nursing and Allied Health Division, and as an Associate Professor at Central Philippine University College of Nursing.

Beyond his clinical and academic work, Gabriel is deeply committed to empowering students and young professionals. Inspired by his own journey of perseverance, he founded the Gabriel Ortigoza Higher Education Loan Program (GO HELP) to assist financially challenged students in completing their college education.

He also manages several entrepreneurial ventures, including Ortigoza Farm, Kamalig Water Refilling Station, and Crossing Resort, blending his passion for service with community development.

With a career that bridges continents and uplifts communities, Gabriel C. Ortigoza remains dedicated to lifelong learning, teaching, and giving back — living proof that education, leadership, and compassion can change lives.
