Moumita Ghosh

Moumita Ghosh is a poet and short-story writer. The caliginous phase, bereavement, and self-discovery through the boulevard of the spiritual world inspired her to work on writing as a profession. She shares her own learned phrases that bridge the ripples of transformation. While she loves to read almost every wave of poetry, she mostly writes Elegy, Free verse, Narrative, and Rhymed poetries. Also, she has an unquenchable thirst for short poems (Haiku, Senryu, Tanka, etc. in both conventional and contemporary styles).

Her book "Space Between Two Fallen Leaves: A Book of Haibun and Tanka Prose" is available in both e-book and paperback formats on amazon.

Her stalwart clasp on emotion and metaphor limns the contour of the page. Many of her short poems have been published in various international journals. She also won several badges and contests at an international writing-platform.

She had done her B. Tech in Electrical Engg., and M. E in Power Engg. She is working on the Hybrid Energy Storage System (renewable energy source based), which will broaden the scope of Electric Vehicles in the diesel /combustion engine-driven world.

She treasures nature, animals, and cultural aesthetic beauty. Currently, she is working on her next poetry book. In the future, she wants to mold a documentary on the spiritual realm.
