Tim Rades

Tim Rades is the author and illustrator of Mermaids Don’t Have Pockets and Robots Don’t Have Tastebuds. A stay at home dad by day, he has an associates degree in graphic design and an extensive background in music, drama and education. A Wisconsin native relocated to Washington, he loves exploring the wonderful Pacific Northwest with his incredible wife and two extraordinary kiddos. Tim elicits laughter from his engaging titles of children's favorite subjects and themes. He has amazing watercolor illustrations that enhance the whimsical stories.
