Susan Reimer

Susan Reimer is the author of the Forged in Flames series, a contemporary young adult trilogy comprised of Embers, A Spark of Faith, and Through the Fire as well as the companion book Penelope. With illustrator Sara Thompson, Reimer has written two picture books: Letters in the Woods and Strawberry Tea. The Gatekeeper’s Daughter, a middle-grade fantasy, was published in 2024 from Chicken Scratch Books. The Space Between Us is scheduled to be released Oct. 1, 2025.

Reimer lives in a small town in Northern Ontario, Canada. When she isn't writing, she enjoys kayaking in summer and skiing in winter.
