Pablo is on a quest about the great mysteries of the cosmos and of life. His ultimate search is how to convey the great astonishment for the complexity of the world through graphic art, music, and poetry.

Pablo was born in Mendoza, Argentina in 1980. In his childhood, he started to show ability in arts and math. He won several awards for writing computer programs in elementary school. As a teen, he started exploring music and drawing.

He cares about human rights, arts, culture, animal welfare, the environment, and education. He is interested in shamanism, entheogen plants, astronomy, physics, philosophy, music, and poetry.

In 1993, Budassi writes the code, designs, and administers an electronic bulletin board system (BBS), serving as a precursor to the Internet. Over the course of four years, he improves the platform's design and functionality, immersing himself in the pioneering realm of digital connectivity.

In 1997, Budassi designs diverse web pages spanning various genres such as companies, educational organizations, musical groups, and sports teams.

In 1998, he serves as the Secretary of Press for the Center of Students at Martín Zapata School of Commerce, designing and printing six issues of the school magazine.

In 2002, Budassi co-founds the music and audiovisual project Nueve Millas with his brother Nicolas Budassi and three others. He contributes as a keyboardist, producing three albums and 23 live screening videos. These videos encompass various techniques, including hand-drawn animation, stop-motion, 3D Studio, Flash, code-generated visuals, own filming, and compilation of stock videos. The band embarks on tours, visiting multiple Argentine provinces, Chile, and Bolivia.

He designs and builds a stage trailer with integrated audio and lighting equipment, capable of transporting instruments, scenery, costumes, audio, lights, and audiovisual projection tools. The trailer can be easily adjusted to accommodate different configurations. When fully deployed, it boasts a 45 square meter stage, providing ample space for up to 12 performers.

In 2003, Budassi establishes Tempo Producciones, a company specializing in sound, musicalization, and lighting services for events. Over the next five years, he successfully delivers around 300 services, showcasing his expertise and dedication in the audio and stage gear domain.

In 2004, alongside César Rubén Lara, he establishes Irie-Ites Discos, a recording studio and music production company. Over the subsequent four years, they record and produce 18 albums and demos for various musical groups hailing from Mendoza and Buenos Aires.

In 2005, he contributes to the design and 3D presentations for Rolando Espina Furniture Factory.

Later that year, he becomes the main keyboardist for the acclaimed musical project Zona Ganjah, led by the talented singer-songwriter Jose Miguel Gahona Hoffman. Together, they embark on a remarkable two decade journey, showcasing their 9 albums through captivating performances in numerous cities and countries, spanning Buenos Aires, various Argentine provinces, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, México, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Costa Rica.

In 2006, he earns the title of Architect from the University of Mendoza with his thesis, "Rethinking Educational Space." The thesis entails a preliminary project for five eco-friendly and user-centric schools, set to be established in five Argentine provinces.

In 2007, he begins his studies in “Licentiate in Musical Composition” at the School of Music of the Faculty of Arts and Design of the National University of Cuyo.

In 2012, he begins editing, translating, and writing articles, as well as creating illustrations for Wikipedia.org. One of his illustrations, titled "Observable Universe Logarithmic Illustration," gains global fame after being featured in a Forbes magazine article in October 2015.

In 2013, he establishes the musical project Awe Plant, taking charge of composing lyrics, music, and designing custom instruments like the "Spheres-drums" and the "Double-milkeys."

In 2014, he pens the script and illustrates a storyboard for an animated musical film exploring the profound connection between human existence and the universe. This three-chapter series, titled "One Drop," features 15 thought-provoking songs with lyrics that invite contemplation on our purpose and aspirations as individuals in the present time and space.

In 2015, he collaborates with the editors of the German World Atlas, "Der Grosse Dumont Weltatlas," where a special version of his universe illustration is prominently featured.

In 2016 his Observable Universe illustration is highlighted at the center of the exhibition “Encircling the World” at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

This year the illustration serves as cover art for several musical and written publications such as “The Daughter of Time” novel trilogy by Erec Stebbins (USA), “Araştırmacı Çocuk” magazine (Turkey), Infinite Density album by Cygnus (USA), “Muy Interesante” magazine (Spain), “Oor Big Braw Cosmos” a book by John Brown, “Macroscopic Self-assembly” by Per Loethman (Sweden), ¨Sciences et Avenir" magazine (France), “New Year’s Eve 360” by Bassnectar (USA), “Supervoid: The woman who dreamed” novel by Cesar Cabrera (Venezuela), “An introduction to particle dark matter” book by Stefano Profumo (UK), “Regeneration” album by Alex Lupi (Italy), “Uchuu no hate toha nanika?” book by Nobuyuki Ienaka (Japan), “Universe: Exploring the Astronomical World” book by Phaidon Editors (UK), “Les Cosmiques” book by Didier Laloum (France).

In 2017 he begins to develop mobile apps related to algoritmical created musical compositions. He receives the ADVA star programmer award for developing (20 years earlier) the first video game coded in Mendoza, Argentina.

In 2018 an adaptation of his work “Powers of Ten” is presented as "experience" of the Wndr museum in Chicago that combines science with artistic sensibility.

On May 8 of this year, "OULI" illustration is chosen by NASA as Astronomy Picture of the Day.

Later this year, Budassi contributes to the publication “Cutting the Cord: A Corrective for World Navels in Cartography and Science” by Rasmus Grřnfeldt Winther on the philosophy and ethics involved in making maps.

In 2019 his works Logarithmic Map of the Universe and Orders of Magnitude are selected to integrate the contents of the “Sanctuary, Eternity for Mankind” time capsule to be buried on the surface of the moon.

In 2020 he creates the astronomical culture project "The Celestial Zoo" which is presented as an infographic poster, a pocketbook, and the presence in social networks with information on 200+ notable celestial bodies including asteroids, comets, moons, planets, stellar systems, nebulas, galaxies and large structures of the cosmos.

In 2021, Budassi publishes his work "Nature Timespiral" which attracts the attention of the scientific and educational community for summarizing the history of the world from creation to the present day in a graph understandable at a glance and which contains equally useful and understandable information for experts and beginners. Biologist Rasmus Grřnfeldt Winther and physicist Vincent Isoz provide valuable feedback, contributing to the piece's scientific rigor.

In 2022, Budassi's works earn recognition in Visual Capitalist's Creator Program with the inclusion of three featured articles. Notably, two of these articles receive the esteemed editor's choice badge, a bimestral feature that recognizes exceptional contributions.

In 2023, Budassi founds Awe Design, a team of designers that includes his brother, Nicolás Budassi. The team is currently involved in collaborations and commissioned projects for science researchers and organizations. Additionally, they are preparing for the publication of several previously unfinished masterpieces.
