P.J. Braley

Evolving from copy editor to author with her debut novel, The Fire Slayers, P.J. Braley blends science fiction with love, loyalty, and destiny, immersing her readers in the underground world of an alien assassin. The series continues with Finding Persephone, Persephone’s Children, and the forthcoming Training Ground (Sept 2026).

In her newest novel, The Painted Fan, P.J. incorporates paranormal and historical details to create a romantic urban fantasy in the heart of downtown Tampa.

In The Bookbinder’s Apprentice and other Impossible Love Stories, P.J. blends romance, history, and fantasy in a quartet of short stories in which six people, each alone until confronted by the complexities of desire, take that first step, igniting an unexpected twist of fate, making what once seemed impossible beautifully, achingly inevitable.

When she isn’t writing, you can find P.J. sitting on the sun deck with her rescued Aussies, Nymeria and Kaela.

She has an M.A. in English from the University of Dayton.
