Christine A O'Riley

Poet and author Christine O'Riley was born and grew up in Watertown, New York and has been writing since age eight.

She holds a BA in English, cum laude, and is a semiretired RN and founder of Pencraft, a local writer's group.

Christine's debut book, The Wondrous Story of the little Shoe, won the Purple Dragonfly New Author award for Excellence in Children's Literature in 2021.

In addition to writing, she is a sought-after inspirational speaker and storyteller.

Her six children now grown, she is grandmother to nine and lives in Gates, New York with her husband Dick and their feline companion, Jack.
