Max Humphrey

MAX HUMPHREY is an interior designer and author based in Portland, Oregon. His studio has completed residential, commercial, and hospitality projects across the United States, all rooted in his lived-in, layered approach to American design. In 2026, Country Living named him one of its Designers and Tastemakers Shaping Country Style.

He is the author of Modern Americana (2021), Lodge: An Indoorsy Tour of America’s National Parks (2023), and Yellowstone National Park and Great Smoky Mountains National Park, two outdoorsy travel guide coffee-table books shaped by his eye for design, history, and sense of place.
