Gad Elbeheri

I am the Founder and Managing Director of Global Educational Consultants; an educational consultancy company based in Cairo, Egypt where I currently reside. Previously, I worked as the Dean of the Australian College of Kuwait and the Executive Director of the Centre for Child Evaluation & Teaching. Before that I was a UNDP Country Expert on Dyslexia in Kuwait and I also worked for the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office as an Arabic Lecturer.

I obtained my PhD from the University of Durham in 2004, UK and I have a keen interest in cross-linguistic studies of Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities and Inclusion.

I made over 40 conference and seminar presentations around the world and I published over 8 books in both English and Arabic in the field of dyslexia, and over 10 peer reviewed journal articles on dyslexia and its manifestations in Arabic. I participated in producing nationally standardized tests and computer-based screening programmes in Arabic.
