Geoffrey Forster

Why write a book? You see, i once had occasion to “manage” a shop myself. A book shop, to be precise. “I never knew you ran a shop, dad,” my youngest said, making no attempt to conceal the amazement in her voice. At that precise moment, it occurred to me that my own children – my kith and kin – knew very little about their father, his life and career. So this book (It Never Rains Unless I Want It To) is affectionately dedicated to them, as well as to my seven wonderful grandchildren, and indeed, all future Forster generations.
