Hi there. I`m Birgit. I have worked with English for more than 30 years now!!

That sounds like a long time..

I went to England 1994 and stayed for 20 months, passed the Cambridge Proficiency test (C2) and worked for several offices. When I came back, everywhere (university, press office, work places) my English skills were in need.

So this is how I started to help other Germans to brush up their English and there still is a huge need for people in to improve.

Maybe interesting for you: I also speak Spanish and Dutch. So I love languages and I love good and respectful communication. Between business partners and in a learning setting.

So this is why and how I wrote my books: hopefully on the same footing with my learners and with a positive and practical approach. Since Nov 23 I have also been doing a podcast, together with Rebecca Deacon + David Preston. We talk about anything that is worth knowing about when you pick up learning English.
