Hal Hartley

Hal Hartley is an American filmmaker, musician and author. He has received prizes at the Cannes, Sundance, Tokyo, Prague and Berlin film festivals. He is a Chevalier de l'Order des Arts et des lettres of the Republic of France and an alumnus of the American Academy in Berlin.
