Alyssa Schermel

Hi there unicorn friend! My name is Alyssa Schermel (a.k.a. Unicorn Princess Gemma) and I am a children's entertainer and author of The Unicorn Princess. I spend many hours dosing myself in glitter and creating magic for kids as certain famous princess characters that you probably know all too well! The kids that I entertain are the inspiration and reason for writing this story.

One of the reasons I really love what I do is because I get to spark imagination and creative expression in kids. The more a child can learn to train their imagination and express themselves, the more they can grow in confidence and self-esteem. I don't think there's anything more important!
