Zachary Shirkey

Zachary C. Shirkey (PhD, Columbia 2006) is Professor of Political Science at Hunter College, CUNY and The Graduate Center, CUNY. He has published in the Journal of Peace Research, Polity, Conflict Management and Peace Studies, International Studies Review, Civil Wars, PS: Political Science & Politics, and the Journal of Theoretical Politics. His has authored or co-authored four books: American Dove, Is This a Private Fight or Can Anybody Join?, Joining the Fray, and Uncertainty, Threat, and International Security.
