Raye Anderson

Raye Anderson is a Scots-Canadian who spent many enjoyable years running Theatre Schools and delivering creative arts programs for arts organisations, most notably at the Prairie Theatre Exchange in Winnipeg, Manitoba but also in Ottawa and Calgary. She has taught Theatre and Drama in Education for the University of Manitoba and her work has taken her from Yellowknife to the West Indies, into the US and to her native Scotland.

She now lives in Gimli, in the Manitoba Interlake.

"And We Shall Have Snow" is the first book in a series featuring Roxanne Calloway of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. It was a finalist for the Best First Crime Novel, Crime Writers of Canada Awards of Excellence, and also for a WILLA award, for Original Softcover Fiction. Her second book, "And Then is Heard No More", was released in June 2021. The third book in the series, "Down Came The Rain" followed in 2022 and "Sing a Song of Summer" in 2023. All are published by Signature Editions.

Raye has recently created a new series, based in Scotland. "The Dead Shall Inherit" is being released in September 2024 and a fifth book in the Roxanne Calloway series is planned for 2025.
