Gretchen Shaffer is a work-from-home wife, mother, grandma, educator, artist, teacherpreneur, author and book illustrator! She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and three fur-babies - Oliver, Kiwi, and Clementine. She has two married children who live nearby and she loves spending time with her 4 granddaughters!

Gretchen has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and more than 20 years experience teaching PreK and Kindergarten. She is an artist and loves creating in different mediums - acrylics, oils, digital and pyrography to name a few. Loving all God's creatures big and small, Gretchen also loves the beauty that He creates in nature - from orange and yellow Fall leaves against a purple sky to the quiet, first snow of the season. Gretchen uses her background in education, love of animals and nature, along with her artistic skills to create fun and inspiring books for young learners.

Gretchen hopes to inspire children to be kind, thoughtful and accepting of others!
