I have loved romances since I was small. The ones my mother had on her shelves stopped with the first kiss and a proposal of marriage! Mine do go a bit further!

The Causton series, starting with The Army's Daughter, is a Regency romance series. This genre has been my therapy through many bad times! Throughout history women have always had to be strong and have usually been under-respected. And my heroines as I write always take on a life of their own and push back. Life in the past could be harsh, especially for women. So my men and woman, if I have succeeded, have a breath of reality about them. I hope you get to read all about them one day, and judge for yourself.

I have a new series starting in 2026, Regency Spies. The first to be published will be Lady Lavender's Secret. At least two more books will follow.

My contemporary reads are varied. The Driver again has a strong heroine, with a difference. Is Evie a goody? Or just as bad as the Crime Lord? Judge for yourself. This is a crime thriller but, of course, there is a romance.

Montana Love has two gorgeous but lonely cowboys, a single mum (with two lovely kids, Anna and Charlie) and an opinionated and rather loud mouthed Brit. If you don't fall in love with either Joe or Al, shame on you.

For when life feels too much, The Christmas Present, is a sweet and gentle romance. One character is Sophie, who has the emotional age of a toddler, she is all me, me, me. How she came to be so damaged fascinated me, so I wrote Sophie's Lovers. Why is Sophie so appalling, and what will make her change? Read it to find out. The Soldier and the Widow wrote itself, it is an age-gap story of love and dirty goings-on in a city's back streets. There is a new adage, 60 is the new 40, and Gin, is proving the truth of this by remaining athletic and lithe enough to attract male attention even though she is now a widow. Not for her anxiety and insecurity, she knows exactly who she is and what she is worth. Not every widow or divorcee is limp and uncertain. Some, are beating the world at its own game. Enjoy!
