Regine Neuhauser was born and raised in Innsbruck, Austria. After obtaining a master’s degree in history from Vienna University she spent many years abroad, among others, working as a lecturer at a university in Papua New Guinea and on an UN-project in Tanzania, East Africa. She has lived in Vienna for the past eighteen years lecturing intensively on a myriad of themes regarding the Habsburg dynasty and Austrian culture. Her passion for history since childhood and the realization that there is still so much to say about the Habsburgs incited her to become a historical writer. In 2015, she published her first book on Maria Theresa of Austria. The third and revised edition of it is now available as an eBook.
